Im not the best soraka but spell thief edge with biscuits (inspiration as secondary rune) gives you 100 gold advantage against enemy support. At first back, buy rejuv bead and go for ardent.
gathering storm is so bad though.. it takes 10 minutes to kick in for only 8 AP.. EIGHT AP.. fucking garbage rune for supports.. then another 10 minutes and you have 16.. omfg who cares? Scorch is at least useful at some point in the game. I mean I can understand transcendence over absolute focus, but gathering storm has to be one of the most useless runes in the entire game…especially for support. Even absolute focus would be better than gathering storm as it gives you like 8-9 AP at lvl 4-5 and 16 AP at just lvl 9. Like.. I feel like you're pigeon-holing yourself into getting gathering storm because of switching to transcendence for whatever reason, but it's so fucking useless. I don't feel like the 10 cdr is worth it when you're going to get 40 cdr naturally anyways with items. I mean I guess it's nice to get max cdr at 1 1/2 items…just don't think it's worth it for such a short window… yeah ADCs are garbage, but the jg and solo lanes feed off the bot lane…they can't truly get fed just off their own lane opponent. bot lane is still super important…but more-so as food.. a bot-lane that is behind = food for the solo laners.. you nawmean? if you get ahead in bot lane, it makes for an easier time for your solo laners. It's universal too.. it's not something that varies from game to game, the duo lane is always going to be pretty important regardless of how shitty the individual roles are. Either way, I still think gathering storm blows.
