Nice review. The red thing that goes on her arm is a key to open her weapons case and it connects her to the case. You can put the skinny end into the circle thing on the top of the case.

Jinx is a decent figure. I bought one a while ago. There is also a camo-designed jinx from the Joe collectors club.
